10 years ago, when I started my raw dairy journey it was not just a health and lifestyle choice to source local food but a financial one. At that time local food was more expensive, held more of a premium cost.

In the last few years as local food producers have stayed steady, large scale mark up, and rising food costs have hit the conventional food system.

We've reached the point here in Montana and much of the west coast where eating local, sourcing quality fresher food that doesn't travel globally to your plate is now more cost effective than buying conventional meats, dairy, eggs, and produce.
