New location. New systems. Same commitment to growing something wonderful.

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, and as we are getting ready to open our doors in November and welcome you into the next chapter of Swift Current Farms!

After months of planning, building, moving, and a whole lot of hard work, we’re excited to invite our wonderful community to our NEW FARM OPEN HOUSE!

Come see where the mushrooms happen!

We’re opening our doors so you can explore our new facility, learn more about how we cultivate our gourmet and medicinal mushrooms, meet the family behind the farm, and see firsthand what goes into bringing locally grown mushrooms to your tables.

Our farm store will also be OPEN! You’ll have the opportunity to shop our farm-grown mushrooms and handcrafted mushroom products.

For us, this move represents so much more than a new building. It’s a fresh beginning, an investment in our future, and another step toward building a sustainable, family-operated farm right here in the Bitterroot Valley.

We’ve experienced plenty of challenges along the way, but through faith, perseverance, and the incredible support of our community, we keep growing.

Whether you’ve been supporting us since our very first farmers market or you’re just discovering Swift Current Farms, we’d love to see you!

🍄A Little Personal Update from Swift Current Farms ❤️

I wanted to share a little personal update with all of you.

Earlier this week, life threw me an unexpected curveball. I ended up in the ER with sudden, severe lower-back pain and difficulty walking. After an MRI, I learned that I have an L5-S1 disc protrusion, narrowing around a spinal nerve, and inflammation in my lower spine and sacroiliac joint.

Unfortunately, this has significantly impacted my mobility, and I’m currently getting around on crutches while waiting to see a spine specialist.

For someone who is constantly on the move….whether it’s working on the farm, putting in hours at the feed store, chasing after kids, or juggling everything in between…this has been quite the adjustment! Apparently, my body has decided it’s time for some mandatory downtime. 🤣

With that being said, I won’t be attending the Clark Fork River Market for at least the next couple of weeks.

This wasn’t an easy decision. Saturday mornings at the market have become such a meaningful part of my life. The familiar faces, conversations, friendships, and incredible support for our little mushroom farm mean more than I can express.

For now, I need to slow down, follow medical guidance, and give my body a chance to heal.

But don’t worry, We’re still going to keep growing, keep hustling, and keep those mushrooms moving…just a little differently for the time being. Mike and our family will continue keeping things going behind the scenes, and we’ll share updates on product availability and ordering options as we go.

I’m hopeful this is just a short detour and that I’ll be back on my feet and ready to rock and roll before too long!

Most importantly, thank you for supporting not just our farm, but the family behind it. Your kindness, encouragement, and continued support mean the world to us.

Here’s to a little rest, a whole lot of healing, and seeing all your smiling faces again soon! ❤️

We are up and running!! Exciting times.

I was so exhausted last night to post this beautiful sunset over our new location…

But standing there for a moment, looking out at this view, I couldn’t help but think about just how blessed we are.

We are tired. Really tired. The kind of tired that comes from long days, sore bodies, endless lists, moving, building, cleaning, fixing, figuring things out….and then getting up and doing it all over again. Mike has been doing it since the 2nd of this month and me when I could between my ICS position and motherhood. I took almost this last week off to help with the long final stretch and the kiddos pitched in too.

But what a blessing it is to be this exhausted.

To be exhausted because we have been given an opportunity we prayed for.

To be tired because we are building something we believe in.

To look around at unfinished walls, tools, boxes, and all the work still ahead and realize…. we’re here.

A new home for Swift Current Farms. A place to grow. A place to create. A place to build the next chapter of this little farm we love so much.

There is still a mountain of work ahead of us, but there is so much excitement underneath the exhaustion.

This sunset felt like a little reminder to stop for just a second and take it all in.

We are so incredibly blessed.

Here’s to new beginnings, hard work, beautiful sunsets, and the opportunity to grow food and produce products that help your body heal.

And thank you to all of you for your patience…for your understanding… and to the love that surrounds us in this little spot in this world. ❤️
