Meet "Tex". We were able to finally acquire this pure Texel ram to add in to our breeding program! Expect some Katahdin x Texel F1 hybrids spring of 2027! The Texel genetics should bring in heavier muscling to our Katahdin lines. Plan is to cross multiple generations of F1,F2, and F3's to start a new, heavier carcassed Katahdin line :)

Rams were just pulled from ewe breeding groups. 4 months and 1 week until lambs again :) we are doing 3 breeding groups...
