We have been established since 2015, in the small town of Rolling Prairie, Indiana. We have one livestock guardian dog protecting our Pygmy goats. Thor has been protecting our farm since 2017 and loves his job. We raise NPGA registered Pygmy goats. We strive to breed to produce structurally correct Pygmies. We follow the NPGA conformation, color, and breed guidelines. We also breed for good temper
aments and easy kidding. All Pygmies will be vaccinated, disbudded, tattooed, microchipped, and registration papers ready for transfer before leaving our farm. We test our herd annually for Johnes and CAE. In addition to Pygmy goats, we raise ABGA registered Boer goats. Purpose for our Boer goats is to be more self sufficient with our food sources. Even though our Boer goats are raised for meat purposes, they’re still bred to ABGA standards and will be fully registered. Offspring will be available for 4H projects, meat purposes, or those who are looking to add new genetics to their existing herds. Our Boer goats will be vaccinated, disbudded (if needed for 4H or requested), tattooed, and registration papers ready for transfer before leaving our farm. Our Boer goats are also annually tested for Johnes and CAE. We have decided to stop hatching and shipping Silkies and Marans eggs. Sold the entire Silkie flock. We will be keeping a Black Copper Marans rooster and some BCM hens for personal egg use. We will have a few other laying breeds for egg purpose. Occasionally may offer barnyard mix hatching eggs and chicks to local customers. Since there will be a BCM rooster covering BCM hens there’s still a chance of offering BCM eggs and chicks. Our farm has put in place strict biosecurity guidelines. Since 2016 we tested our flock routinely for PT and AI to maintain our NPIP certification. We are certified with NPIP #32-522. Starting 2023, will only maintain yearly PT testing. Our overall goal is to produce healthy animals that meet breed standards.
