🐴 BUILT LIKE A TANK, RIDES LIKE AN OLD FRIEND! 🐴
| Grade Quarter Horse Mare | 14.2 HH
Looking for a good, old-fashioned trail horse that doesn’t need a full-time job to remember how to be ridden?
This stout little lady is approximately 17 years old (aged by an equine dentist), built like a brick house, and about as uncomplicated as they come!
Let her sit for months, pull her out, saddle up, and off you go!
⭐ Beginner-friendly! If you can sit on her and hold the reins, you can ride her!
⭐ Excellent trail horse — rides alone or in a group
⭐ Rides in a hackamore or snaffle
⭐ Has a decent little neck rein
⭐ Easy keeper with ZERO routine maintenance requirements!
⭐ Low in the herd pecking order
⭐ Loads, leads, ties, and handles all the basics
⭐ Doesn’t require consistent riding to remember her job
She’s an excellent candidate for a weekend warrior, casual pleasure rider, or someone looking for that elusive husband horse.
What she ISN’T: A speed-event horse! No barrels, no poles, no aspirations of beating the clock. She’s much happier enjoying the scenery.
Soundness disclosure: Historically sound with no ongoing maintenance needs. Is currently barefoot, does benefit from shoes on heavy trails!!
No fancy bells and whistles, no complicated riding program. Just a good, stout, experienced mare who knows her job!
