I am excited to say I am about to start my custom made feed journey. This is a small amount for the whole recipe.

My goal is to maximize my birdsā€™ natural potential by giving them the best. My friend at Sweet Rain Quail has already started his.

I love Big V Feeds, but having 3 different formulas needed and one of them being difficult to source made me make this decision.

The recipe I am using comes from Poultry Breeder Nutrition group, the recipe uses the same ingredients at different ratios, so while yes I will have more products, I can freshly mill what I need when I need it.

These guys are going to a new home almost 3 hours away but we are meeting their new owner half wayish in Tulsa.

Ginger roosters and cinnamon roosters. šŸ™‚

I ā€œbuildā€ my own transport boxes for local pick up to ensure the birds donā€™t suffocate and I feel like my birds donā€™t panic if they can see what is going on. This way the new owner can also see the birds freely without concern of the birds flying out.

I have to brag, THE Rebecca from Thieving Otter Farm has purchased eggs from me!!

Will be sending my calico eggs to her, I am working on a jumbo line but they are not refined. My hens in this pen are 14-12 oz. Rooster is 9.2 oz. I am hoping it sticks.
