Today my babies would be 20.5 and 15.5, how old would your babies be? I'd love to hear about your babies!!!
Today is a day very near and dear to my heart, today is National pregnancy and infant loss remembrance day. Although I think of the 2 babies (Madeline and Diesel) I lost often and don't need a special day to do so, I believe it is important as a society too allow women to grieve openly about pregnancy loss. I hate the stigma attached to losing a baby during pregnancy. I had no idea how common miscarriage was until I openly shared my loss and pain and only then did others reach out to share their similar stories. So in rememberance of my babies that I loss. Mommy loves you and thinks of you often. I will always consider myself a mother of 6.
After my 2nd miscarriage my mom shared a belief that she has and it comforted me, she said "when we get to heaven our angel babies are still babies and we get to raise them then." I love this and can't wait to cuddle my little ones. And find comfort in the being held by Jesus Himself.
So heres to all my dear friends who have suffered loss during and after pregnancy, it's a lot of you at all different stages. I grieve for you, I grieve beside you. I hope each of you find comfort that our babies are safe, filled with joy and madly loved by Jesus Himself.
