For the foreseeable future we will be only able to offer duck eggs.

We have lost a foundation c**k and our last 2 laying hens last night to a predator. 😭😭😭

Ducks eggs are now all $5/doz. Inventory on hand so hollar. Texting is preferred.

I've set the final round of duck eggs in the incubator. That means I will soon have cold, eating duck eggs in plenty. $6/doz.
Chicken eggs will remain limited with only 2 layers until the pullets reach maturity. That means I can do half and halfs on request for $5 egg-ventory permitting.

Update on egg-ventory here:
Wil E took out one of my beloved layers. She fought. So that means I only have 2 layers on the chicken side right now. I cannot and will not hold out so it's 1st come 1st serve when I do have a dozen. $4/doz or $2/half doz

Duck: My ladies are laying but it's also hatching time so I'm holding back. I wash and candle before incubating because one duck lays a particular pattern in the shell and hers are never fertile so those go to eating eggs. Again 1st come first serve. I will not hold.
Duck is now $6/doz
Half n half (6 of each) is $5

Our ladies of either species are not yet in full production. Chicken eggs will continue to be limited for the foreseeable future since we only have 3 layers at the moment.

I’ve seriously gotten like a buzz from eating 3 duck eggs. They are nutritional super bombs. Not that chicken egg’s are not, but the duck eggs definitely give you that little jolt that chicken eggs really don’t. I guess they are better for certain recipes, too. My wife gets ducks every year and they hang around until something eats them (I was the varmint that got a couple of them😁).

Ducks eggs only for the foreseeable month. Sorry. We are down to three laying hens at the moment thanks to the neighborhood Coyote family.
Also, ducks tend to taper off about now as well, so duck egg inventory will be limited through the winter.
This is a natural process and we don't force our ladies of either species.

Let's do this with Duck eggs. Right now, we have duck dozens that are a straight substitute size for large chicken.
Or try them for baking for a more delicious 😋🤤 outcome.
