A little about us:

We are a small farm with under 50 animals at any given time. We have been on our new property for under two years now and are working at regenerating our historically overgrown forest, and developing and growing our natural perennial pastures through rotational grazing in both pasture and forest. Our animals work the land, and help regenerate it before, during, and after timbering. We produce both small and large carcass dual purpose sheep, and experiment with crossbreeding for adaptable animals that provide good fiber, excellent meat, and landscape utility. We also run a bottle lamb rescue - bringing in newborn lambs born on livestock haulers and in feed lots, and adopting them out to small farms throughout the state. Lamb and meat availability fluctuates with our determined production for the year. We recently received a generous NRCS grant to provide new internal fencing and dedicated frost free watering throughout our pastures. Our land is constantly changing, and we breed to accommodate those changes. Aimee has been a shearer for several years, and has spend most of her academic career researching sheep production around the world. She often has rare wool available from her travels, and provides her own flocks wool for sale.
