Schroeder Homestead is a small, family-run farm dedicated to simple living and honest food. From our cozy micro-bakery, we bake fresh, naturally fermented sourdough using traditional methods that take time

, patience, and care. Each loaf is handcrafted in small batches, with a crisp golden crust and the rich flavor that only slow fermentation can create. Beyond the bakery, our happy flock of free-range chickens roam the pasture, scratching and sunbathing as nature intended. Beautiful farm-fresh eggs with vibrant yolks and unbeatable flavor. We also harvest and bale quality hay from our fields, perfect for livestock, homesteads, and small farms throughout the area

Some exciting news!!!! Starting Wednesday September 2 at 10 am you can find Schroeder Homestead sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls and mini loaves at Da Bayou Takery in Stockdale.

Schroeder Homestead is at the Wonderland Mall in San Antonio today for the Predator takeover event. And we have offically sold out! Thank you San Antonio!
