One last chance to try June‘s “$30 Three Course Prix Fixe Menu” at The Widow’s Tavern & Grille before we close over the week of July 4th! And this one’s special because it features everyone’s favorite local butcher, “Nello’s Specialty Meats”, and their delicious Bratwurst! You cannot miss this German delight! This month’s menu is as follows.

Tempura Battered Asparagus w/ Red Pepper Pesto

Proudly carrying on the tradition of The Widow Brown’s Inn by serving delicious “King”, “Queen” and “Prince” cut Slow Roasted Prime Rib Au Jus w/ Horseradish Cream every Friday & Saturday night! Looking for something extra special for the big guy this weekend? How about Beef Wellington made with an 8oz Filet Mignon, Mushroom Duxelles, Herb Butter, a Puff Pastry & Red Wine Demi-Glacé? Perfection papa’s palate will be proud of! And of course, we can’t do a beef post and leave out our famous “English Burger” or our “Smoked Brisket Omelet” and “Smoked Sausage Gravy & Homemade Biscuits” featured during Sunday Brunch(he doesn’t have to know you’re at “Brunch” ya know)! Beat the heat with fun summer drink specials, delicious weekend food specials, and some new sweet treats at Widow’s! For the food, Homemade Spinach & Artichoke Dip w/ Toasted Pita Bread as an appetizer. For entrées, a Summer Seafood Boil w/ Clams, Shrimp, Lobster, Red Potatoes & Corn in Lobster Broth, and of course, the best Prime Rib Au Jus w/ Horseradish Cream around! For drinks, a Summer Peach Mule, a Tito’s Doli Martini, a Widow’s Mojito, The Hugo Spritz, and it wouldn’t be summer without Orange Crushes, would it!?
