Its time! PRE-ORDERS are OPEN!
Shelling Peas!

We will begin harvesting our Shelling peas! A true summertime treat! Our goal is to never have peas sitting in our cooler for more than 24 hrs. Peas begin converting their sugars to starch quickly so if you've ever bought Peas at the store and they just weren't as sweet as you remember, that's the reason!

FB asks "what's on my mind" every time I start a post. Today it's fresh vegetables! The garden is producing! Woo-hoo!

We are a very small farm but we're trying like heck to bring you beautiful, fresh, organically grown vegetables.

Katherine had a total surprise while out in the garden yesterday! We've been watching the bush bean plants since seeing the first beautiful purple flowers arrive. Just baby beans surfacing...or so we thought. Bent over pulling a w**d she saw full sized beans hiding under the very dense and lush foliage! We honestly thought we wouldn't be picking till the end of week. Nope! First 2 lbs came in last night! Here we GO!

These are beautiful stringless Dragons Tongue beans. Even oversized they are delicious! If you were lucky enough to get some last year, you know how surprisingly tender these are! If you haven't tried them, don't miss out, these are absolutely worth a try!

Fresh local vegetables keep fresh in your fridge so much longer than store bought vegetables! Did you know most fresh vegetables in the grocery store are 7-10 days old by the time they reach the store? They are harvested, packaged then sold to a distributor. It goes to a distribution center where it can sit for days before being added to other vegetables to be shipped out to various stores. This reduces not only the shelf life for you, the consumer but also reduces some of the nutrients you should be getting from eating the vegetables!

Support your local farmer and eat the most nutritious vegetables on the market!

Garlic is upon us! Johnny and I are working hard to get this year's harvest ready to go out! We are currently trimming and hanging the bulbs to cure/ dry. In just a few short weeks we will have delicious, organically grown garlic for you!

What a great Stockholm Sovereign Market today. We were so happy to see so many of you again and to meet new members who have joined us at this wonderfully unique market! It was great to be back! Thank you everyone for being so welcoming.

Did you miss us today because you couldn't make it to market? That's ok, we know things happen and have limited quantities of our fresh items... loaded salad, Greek Cucumber Salad, Beet salad and 1-6oz Indi's cream cheese schmear. Just a few containers of fresh frozen soups still available. My grandmother's Veg soup and Barley soup.
