Thank you to everyone that came to Stockholm Sovereign Market today! It was such a beautiful day for our last outdoor market! We couldn't do this without all if your support!

We still have a few things available from our garden ready for pick up here at our farm.

Last year we ran out of beets early so this year we dedicated more space and succession planted. Despite most of one bed "disappearing", we still have beets and beets with greens of all sizes ready for delicious eating.
Because the greens (and beets) hold better in the ground, I'm harvesting per order with the exception of obviously market days.

Saturday is Stockholm Sovereign Market day! We're still harvesting veggies so our kitchen contributions will be a bit more limited this week.

Hello everyone The temperature and humidity have finally dropped enough to load the Freeze Dryer! (Yes, we live in a very old farmhouse with no A/C and the freeze dryer is in an open room that would make a dehumidifier fairly useless) We've been patiently waiting but also wishing we had a bit more summer!

First batch in is the long awaited peaches I purchased from the Amish. I cleaned, sliced and froze in anticipation of this moment! We loaded the machine yesterday and now we wait. Looks like they will be ready to double check tomorrow afternoon! Our plan is to have them ready and packaged up to bring to Stockholm Sovereign Market this Saturday!

These are plain, no sugar added peaches. Crispy/crunchy. IYKYK! If you have questions or would like to place a pre-order, PM Katherine Whitson and I'll answer questions and arrange pick up for the Pre-orders

September is upon us. Every year we stand wondering how it's already fall! Seems like the summer speeds past us before we know it. Cooler nights are slowing the garden down but not completely!

Despite the bean plants beginning to die back, we've added a few lbs of fresh DRAGON'S TONGUE BEANS to our cooler. If you've been on the fence about trying them or simply missed is at market last week, (Johnny had appointments downstate that kept us from attending) nows the time to get some. I'm doubtful they will make it to next Stockholm Sovereign Market.

We have a couple bags of RAINBOW SWISS CHARD available and will have more to cut after this rain event.

A small amount of SUGAR SNAP PEAS! I absolutely love to add these to salads. Sweet, crispy and delicious!

Picked per order(when not raining), various sizes of BEETS and GREENS as well as both purple and orange CARROTS.

ZUCCHINI and YELLOW ZUCCHINI various sizes from small and excellent for fresh raw eating to large beautiful squash perfect for stuffing or grating for pancakes or breads.

Its time! PRE-ORDERS are OPEN!
Shelling Peas!

We will begin harvesting our Shelling peas! A true summertime treat! Our goal is to never have peas sitting in our cooler for more than 24 hrs. Peas begin converting their sugars to starch quickly so if you've ever bought Peas at the store and they just weren't as sweet as you remember, that's the reason!
