Hale Tree Farms activity level is ramping up for the Christmas Tree season which will be here soon. A couple new features at the farm include a repurposed deck used now as an observation deck on the upper field known as Erika's Plot.
The deck yielded some beautiful fall foliage scenes that unfolded in the valley to the north. Next season plans are to have a railing and new stain.
Lower left photo shows the only "artificial" tree on the 65-acre farm.
The "tree" includes a mailbox with blue ribbon and markers for those who wish to pre-tag their family Christmas tree. Remember to tie the blue ribbon on the uphill side so our crew knows where to expect a tag.
Note that the 8-foot measuring stick is stored directly adjacent to the "artificial" tree.
As of tonight, about 20% of all trees are sheared. If you want the non-sheared look, consider coming to the farm soon. Four families have pre-tagged their 2026 Christmas tree.

Wow, fall at Hale Tree Farms can be majestic!!! View from my observation deck I installed last week. Thought you would like to know Christmas trees are being sheared almost daily now. If you want the non-sheared look come on out and put a blue ribbon on your family Christmas tree.

Reminder that tomorrow is the final day for Hale Tree Farm to be open in the 2025 season. Come on out and talk with the Sunday afternoon crew, Tyler Raymond and fiancée Elizabeth and Matt Holabird. They will be here after 2 pm thus keep 'em busy by showing up then. :-)
Thanks to Saturday crew Kyle Damboise and Beau Glasscock.
We need 17 sales to reach 150 for the season and selection is still ok. Not fantastic but okay.
Here are a couple farm-fresh Hale Tree Farms Christmas trees all decked out.
