Thank you to Old Croton Farm for capturing this photo in the last class of the last show of the week long fair. Both participants were clearly very silly after this final win of Best County Herd. What an ending to a great state show!

New Jersey State 4H Show was a huge success! First off big thanks to our judge Tyler Ramirez, who always gives the kids so much excellent feedback. Thanks to the 4H Dept members that put on such a great show! Sammy earned 3rd out of 13 in a very competitive showmanship class. W***y earned a 2nd and Andy earned a 5th in their novice showmanship class. Maplecrest MF Melody was 3/5

Casa Ram SL Glamorous was 2/15 Dreahook MB Selenga was 3/15
Stratton Creek T Cora was 4/15
Casa Ram KB My Lady was 5/15 Dreahook LS Sora was 1/11 was Nigerian Dwarf Senior Champion then went on to win Best Sr Doe in Show! The best part was her breeder was there to see her shine!
Dreahook SS Chickadee was 3rd/11
Dreahook SS Bahama Woodstar was 5th/11
Maplecrest AK Dory was 1st/2. Junior Does all did great and were the top half of their classes. Willcare Kandid did not disappoint and was Champion Recorded Grade Junior Doe. Ella won Champion Companion Doe as well. I was really really proud of the kids and our herd. They all worked hard especially after being there all week!

We had a great day at the county fair today. Some highlights includeā€¦
Champion Senior Doe Nigerian Dwarf- Casa Ram SL Glamorous. Reserve Champion Senior Doe Nigerian Dwarf- Dreahook LS Sora. Dreahook SS Chickadee and Maplecrest MF Melody won Dam and Daughter. Champion Junior Standard -Willcare Kandid and she went on to win Best Junior doe in show! We had many class wins today too! Not to take away from all of our girls doing GREAT! The kids all really appreciated learning a lot from the judge today. It was a really good show and we are all SO tired!

Adella was the only baby this year to make a total mess of ear tattoos. Sammy has created ā€œthe Sammy methodā€ for clean tattooing. Adella also decided to be extra green with her alfalfa. I think she wants a green collar!
