Ferneyna(Ferneyn x Fer-Natta) Dam of Tre-Jur (Fadjur)was the first foal Marjory F. Tone bred. Born on Patricia Gilbreath's birthday, she was given to my youngest sister. She was a Top Ten halter mare and had numerous beautiful foals sired by Fadjur.

The "FABULOUS FADJUR" - AN ABSOLUTE AND IMMORTAL LEGEND OF THE ARABIAN BREED. TRULY ONE OF THE VERY GREATEST AND MOST IMPORTANT ARABIAN STALLIONS OF ALL-TIME. He was the phenomenally successful head sire for the historic JACK TONE RANCH BREEDING PROGRAM for his entire life (he lived, and bred by natural service; right up to the age of 31!); which was founded in 1953 by JACK "BUDDY" and MARJORY TONE of the JACK TONE RANCH along with their endlessly devoted and loving daughters, son's-in-law, grand, and great-grandchildren! Many newer members of our world-wide Arabian Horse community may not really be aware of, or even have any detailed knowledge about, what an absolutely profound impact, significant influence and decades long blaze of record-setting accomplishments that this gloriously incredible Arabian Stallion, along with one of the great historic founding family's of California; triumphantly achieved together! The oldest continuous breeders of horses, as well as the second oldest continuous family farm in the State of California; the Jack Tone family with their always welcoming warmth and renowned hospitality; were, and are; also truly among the very first American Arabian Horse Breeders to become GLOBAL AMBASSADORS FOR THE ARABIAN HORSE; with their superlatively successful breeding program and their ground-breaking marketing and promotion; and as well at their famous annual open house and "HORSE MANAGEMENT CLINIC" & "PARADE OF CHAMPIONS" which they have been holding for 55 YEARS NOW; they introduced countless new admirers to the Arabian Breed - which always has first and foremost, emphasized not only the great beauty; but the entire Jack Tone family's most sincerely and genuinely heartfelt belief in the most lovable, kind, sensitive and gentle, yet spirited; qualities of the Arabian Horse - as the most trustworthy, fun and enjoyable breed of horse for the entire family; took the blood of the "FABULOUS FADJUR" through the exquisitely beautiful, intelligent, sweet-natured and spirited results of their breeding program as well as their deep, genuine love and respect for the Arabian Breed; all around the world! For many, many years, FADJUR was far and away the ALL-TIME LEADING SIRE; and The JACK TONE RANCH were the ALL-TIME LEADING BREEDERS; OF EXPORTS. There are almost a countless number of records, and facts of interest; as a sire and grand-sire that the "FABULOUS FADJUR" and the JACK TONE RANCH BREEDING PROGRAM held for many decades; and some are still held to this very day; but a few right off the top is that quite interestingly; to begin with, FADJUR was one of the very first Arabian Horses in the world to ever combine within one pedigree, among the most exemplary and royally bred individuals in existence anywhere at that time of Egyptian, Polish, and Crabbet bloodlines; and his dam, the illustrious BINT SAHARA was for decades the LEADING ALL-TIME DAM OF CHAMPIONS; and not only did FADJUR himself with his unforgettably explosive show ring style and spectacular "snort and blow" presence; win many very important National and other Class "A" Championship titles in halter for a longer span of time throughout his life; than had ever been done before, or that I believe has ever been done since; but most importantly, he sired hundreds of beautiful daughters and sons (his total number of registered get is 820; and incidentally, all sired by natural service!) - and for decades he was the "LEADING AMERICAN-BRED SIRE OF CHAMPIONS"; and for some period of time, simultaneously also the "LEADING LIVING SIRE OF CHAMPIONS"! A remarkably consistent and reliable progenitor of not only fantastic excellence of breed type, quality and refinement; but also wonderful dispositions; great conformation and athletic ability; soundness; strength, endurance, and stamina; and then these individuals in turn bred this same superb excellence forward to the next future generations! For many, many years the"FABULOUS FADJUR" was also far and away the "LEADING ALL-TIME SIRE OF CHAMPION PRODUCING DAUGHTERS"; and far and away the "LEADING ALL-TIME SIRE OF THE ARABIAN HORSE WORLD MAGAZINE'S ARISTOCRAT MARES"- mares that have eminently distinguished themselves by producing four or more Class "A" Champions. And when FADJUR passed away in 1983; his grandson, the legendary KHEMOSABI; who is the current LEADING ALL-TIME SIRE of our breed with 1251 registered get (who was out of the absolutely gorgeous FADJUR daughter; and also double FADHEILAN granddaughter JURNEEKA) became for many years, the then LEADING LIVING SIRE OF CHAMPIONS. The JACK TONE RANCH was also the home of the "LEADING LIVING DAM OF CHAMPIONS" - the celebrated SAKI; one of their exquisite foundation mares who was only ever bred to FADJUR; her fantastic record as a truly great broodmatron of the Arabian Breed was for many years only surpassed by that of FADJUR's own remarkable dam, BINT SAHARA!
And furthermore, no other Arabian Stallion in the history of the Arabian Breed has ever, and will probably never again; have had the superior excellence of his phenotype, his constitutional make-up and genome; as profoundly tested and irrefutably proven supreme as FADJUR did, with the absolutely incredible success achieved; through the ultimate test as a breeding animal through very careful and incredibly selective inbreeding. Early on in FADJUR's breeding career MARGE TONE made the very brave and bold decision to begin crossing FADJUR back to his very finest, and most beautiful daughters; to additionally concentrate their outstanding characteristics that she so loved and very dearly appreciated; although I seem to recall MARGE saying that the decision to try this was actually a very easy one for her; given the great beauty and all-around superb excellence of FADJUR as well as that of many of his daughters! That decision resulted in breeding success for the JACK TONE RANCH of monumental proportions. The very first result of this cross was the absolutely breathtakingly beautiful Arabian Mare - FADJURS HANA (FADJUR x BINT MEHANAZEN by FADJUR); MARGE's All-Time Favorite Bay Mare - and truly among the world's most amazingly extreme and exotic; as well as correct Arabian Mares to have ever lived; this unforgettably unique, show-stopping beauty was soon followed by many other extraordinarily beautiful, and correct daughters and sons in**ed to the "FABULOUS FADJUR"; with their wonderful dispositions and excellent conformation. To this very day, we have yet to see another breeding program founded from what was originally quite a small, extremely select number of the very highest quality Arabian Horses; that at its peak numbers, had achieved not only a fairly large broodmare band, also with younger herd sires; of truly extraordinary beauty, kindness, spirit and superb conformation; but that also was so incredibly and impressively harmonious, both phenotypically as well as genotypically; within only two to three generations of breeding; and with such a tightly concentrated gene pool as that which the Legendary Arabian Horse Breeder MARGE TONE accomplished with her phenomenally "FABULOUS FADJUR"! If your lives have been touched, as ours and our family's have deeply been; by this truly great Arabian Stallion and his absolutely wonderful family, we are very glad for you. If not, we would definitely urge you to plan a trip very soon to visit the HISTORIC JACK TONE RANCH in STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA; as all of their glorious Arabian Horses of their past; and all of their incredible accomplishments still exist today through their descendants; forever woven into the pedigrees of the exquisitely beautiful, exotic, kind, and spirited Arabian Horses of exemplary conformation that MARGE TONE's daughter KATHLEEN TONE HAMMER; a Truly Great Arabian Horse Breeder, and Profoundly Accomplished Horsewoman and Judge, in her own right; along with her extremely devoted family; lovingly and proudly continue the superlative JACK TONE RANCH BREEDING PROGRAM forward into the future.
Our wonderful and beloved Arabian Horses that we have been most fortunate to have shared most of our lives with that were either sired by FADJUR, and or bred by THE JACK TONE RANCH were STAR-JUR (sired by FADJUR) 1967 Bay Stallion; SIDS FADZANITA (*Sidi-Brahim x Bint Fadanazem by FADJUR x Fadanazem by FADJUR) 1979 Grey Mare; FADJURS BAY RUBY (FADJUR x Fadanazem by FADJUR) 1980 Bay Mare; and are BRAHMS TROTSKY (*Sidi-Brahim x Fadjurs Magic by FADJUR x Ibna by IBN FADJUR) 1982 Grey Stallion; and FADJURS SHANA (*El Shaklan x Fadjurs Hana by FADJUR x Bint Mehanazem by FADJUR) 1985 Bay Mare. We hope that you enjoyed our article; please share on FACEBOOK. Our very warmest regards to the entire Jack Tone Family, Lots of Love, Tim and Ann

Hi to all…remembering all the fun times we had riding back in the 50’s with my horse Cisco and of course who could forget Stull…back in the day😍🐴
I love your half Arab, half sister to my Prize daughter. What is her history?
The Route 88 Band wishes to thank the Jack Tone Ranch for offering its facilities to the Stockton Police Mounted Patrol Unit and allowing us to entertain the cowgirls and cowboys during the Stockton Police Mounted Patrol Unit's Barnyard Party Fundraiser. It was a wonderful event and for such a great cause. Awesome people! So much fun!
ARE YOU ALL OUT OF RANGE OF THE FIRE?
This mare Shaklana Fadjur and her foal were bred by the historic Jack Tone Ranch. Books occasionally (and incorrectly) call the Godolphin Arabian, one of the founding sires of the breed, "the Godolphin Barb." What is a Barb? And what's the difference between an Arabian and a Barb? Here's your answer: https://ilovehorses.net/history-2/what-is-the-difference-between-an-arab-and-a-barb/
I'm 81 years old now. I don't ride anymore but I used to ride hunters and jumpers. I'm getting close to the end of my life now and the only thing I really want to do is just hug a horse. Put my arms around their neck and breathe in the sweet scent of such a beautiful and majestic animal. That's the only thing I really want to do before I leave this earth.
