It's a wet heavy mess out there. First plow with the tractor and loader bucket could barely make it through 4" of wet/heavy snow. Our snow mountain in the circle is getting huge! Crazy that we have over a foot and a half of snow already this winter.

The farm is a winter wonderland tonight. We've been hunkered down all day setting up a tree, plowing snow, feeding animals, and helping a buddy get his plow truck fixed in our shop. Matt loves being out in the elements and Karina likes being warm...inside...looking out the windows...hot drink in-hand.

Got to play in the manure a bit this morning. Cleaned out the boy's pen behind the barn, also where the egg layers hang out all year. Mixed in a 5 or 6 bales of crappy hay, this will make some good compost to spread this fall.
