A great community event!!

Hi Stoneham Neighbors! Happy Earth Day!💚The Stoneham Spring Cleanup and 5th Annual Earth Day Celebration is this Saturday, April 25!

Come out with your neighbors, friends, and family to clean up the town and celebrate our beautiful planet and community. Sign up in advance for your cleanup site (check the event details) or get assigned one at check-in. Participants should meet at 10AM by the gazebo on Stoneham Town Common to pick up cleanup supplies and be part of the big group photo. Supplies will still be available if you arrive late. Don’t forget your reusable water bottle and consider wearing long sleeves and long pants if you’re going to be in grassy areas (ticks are out in full force already.)

Bring full trash bags back to the Common and join us for the Earth Day Celebration starting at 11:30. See below for full program. See you on Saturday! All the goodies are here…and don’t forget your scary pumpkins for composting! 🎃 Free glitter tattoos and balloon animals (balloons starting around 11). Bring a donation for the food pantry, too! 10-2pm

Thanksgiving Farmers Market - November 22, 10am - 2pm. The Stoneham Farmers Market - Thanksgiving Market is a one-time event featuring live music by Art Grossman, farm fresh vendors, tasty treats, prepared foods from Nutnapat and Bake & Bites, art, gifts, and more! Everything you will need to start your Thanksgiving and holiday shopping! Activities will include free balloon animals by Kristen Hale, crafts, and games for all ages. Please consider bringing non-perishable food items and/or paper goods to be donated to the food pantry and any leftover pumpkins for composting! Black Earth Compost will be picking up pumpkins from the town common (near the gazebo) after the market. Finally, pre-order a turkey from Oake Knoll Farms for pickup during the market!
