Smith Farms USDA Certified Organic, USDA Class B Livestock Dealer, and GAP Certified We are the only USDA Certified Organic farm in Rockingham county.

We supply our organic veggies and hormone free brown eggs from Free Range chickens to many local resturants and businesses such as Carolina Grown, Fresh Point/Sysco, Foster Caviness, and Backyard Produce. Also, 4 years ago, we started our own yearly CSA which is where families buy a share of our Spring/Summer veggie crop and receive weekly baskets full of our hand picked fresh organic vegetables;

brown eggs optional. Along with our vegetables, we raise South African Boer Goats and free range, hormone free chickens. If anyone is interested, please contact us.

For anyone in the community who wants to know how to help farmers in Western NC, here’s your chance. The Upper Piedmont Research Station is a collection point for hay (round or square bales), fencing supplies, or basic farm supplies. The Research Station is located at 1944 wentworth st, Reidsville. You can deliver any supplies or hay on 9/29 from 3-5pm.

We will also accept anything that is found on the list below.
