🍀 Happy St. Patty’s Day from the farm! 🍀

We wore green… the goats tried to eat it.We looked for luck… found more chores.We hoped for gold… got mud instead. 😂

Around here, “shamrockin’” looks a lot like:🐐 Goats attempting escape plans🐔 Chickens judging us from a distance🚜 And us wondering how we ended up covered in dirt before noon

But hey—wouldn’t trade this crazy farm life for all the pots of gold 🌈

If luck is real, it’s in the little things… like fresh air, full feed buckets, and animals that (mostly) behave 😅

🌞 Beautiful Saturdays = Farm Chores 🚜🐓🐐

A beautiful Saturday on the farm doesn’t mean relaxing… it means getting things done!

We started the morning putting pavers around the farm sign to give it a little extra charm when folks pull in. Then it was time for the big chicken coop project — completely stripping out the coop and run, washing everything down, and giving it a full refresh so our feathered ladies have a nice clean home. 🐔✨

After that, we moved on to the barn, cleaning out the stall and getting everything fresh and ready. It’s a lot of work, but there’s something pretty satisfying about a clean coop, tidy barn, and happy animals at the end of the day.

Farm life might be messy sometimes… but we wouldn’t trade it for anything. ❤️🌾

🚨 Goat Countdown: 3 Weeks!! 🚨

We got updated photos of our sweet baby girls today and let’s just say… our hearts are completely stolen. 🐐💕

In 3 weeks these little ladies will be arriving at their forever goat home and we are officially in full countdown mode. The barn is ready, the stalls are ready, and the snack budget is about to dramatically increase. 😅

Pretty soon the farm will have more hooves, more chaos, more goat zoomies, and definitely more attitude.

🚨 Farm Security Alert 🚨

Apparently we have a barn escape artist and her name is Miss Onyx.

Anytime we forget to pull the front door of the barn down, she sees it as her official invitation to jump the gate and make a break for the yard. No hesitation. No goodbye. Just YEET over the gate like she’s training for the Goat Olympics. 🐐🏅

The funny part? She doesn’t actually have a plan once she escapes. She just stands in the yard looking proud of herself like:
“Yep. I did that.”

Thankfully, her criminal career is short-lived because all it takes is one bucket of animal crackers and suddenly she remembers she lives here and calmly walks back to the barn like nothing happened.

So basically our farm’s maximum security system can be defeated by:
1️⃣ A barn door not pulled down
2️⃣ A determined goat
3️⃣ Snacks

Not really sure where she thinks she’s going… but if anyone sees a small black goat wandering the yard with a dream and a love for animal crackers, just know she’s probably on another adventure. 😂🐐

🐐 Breaking News From the Pasture: We may have accidentally raised lap goats. 🤦‍♀️😂

After finally finishing the baby goats’ new stalls (because apparently we’re running a full-service goat hotel over here), we decided to relax and spend the evening out in the pasture with the herd. Sounds peaceful, right?

Well… that lasted about 3 seconds.

Next thing we know we’re surrounded by goats who are 100% convinced they are tiny lap dogs. Personal space? Never heard of it. Sitting quietly? Not an option. If there’s a human nearby, clearly it’s time to climb, snuggle, nibble your shirt, and request unlimited scratches. 🐐❤️

Pretty sure their thought process is:
“If human sits… we sits.”

At this point we’ve accepted our fate. The barn may have stalls, but the goats have decided our laps are the VIP section. 🤷‍♀️😂

Honestly though… farm evenings like this are the best kind of chaos.

Anyone else have animals that don’t understand the concept of personal space? 👀🐐
