August 29th we catered a beautiful wedding at the legendary Grade A Garden farm! Congratulations to the bride and groom on a perfect evening!

August 23rd we cooked a private benefit dinner for Healthy Birthday Count The Kicks! We met a great group of people and I was “gifted” one of the best old fashions I’ve ever had! Thank you for your support and generosity!

August 22nd we catered a very special birthday party! White Willow Events set up the beautiful ambiance with candles around the pool and the most gorgeous table setting. The man, Jackson, held down the bar along with set up and tear down, he was a beast! Happy birthday Lisa and thank you for inviting us into your home!

Back to back dinners at Rose Farm on August 20th and 21st! State Fair themed dinners with some amazing guests! We love Rose Farm!

August 18th Private event for a very special client. We were collaborating with Chef Brandan Lane and some of the ICI culinary crew. Chef Brandan made some beautiful appetizers while we took care of the bar and desserts. I always enjoy working with other industry professionals!

August 16th we took part in the Iowa State Fair“America’s Picnic” Farm to Fair dinner! We had main course which means we were able to support the Iowa Beef Industry! We also included local Iowa carrots, onions, potatoes, honey and cream. Thank you to all the 4H volunteers and Choose Iowa for all their support!

August 14th we traveled to the beautiful Rose Farm in Norwalk, Iowa. This is so much more than a flower farm. Karri and Patrick Rose have created a slice of Iowa Heaven. We hosted Iowa State University and their conservation team. We talked about the benefit of cover crops, natural prairie, native perennials, and pollinators. Even Ralph was in full “show” mode! We always love hosting guests at Rose Farm!

August 10th we traveled just outside of Winterset, Iowa to the Lone Oaks Farm where we hosted Travel Iowa and the Iowa Tourism Office. The evening started with apps at Speckled Hen Farm and ended with a prairie walk and forage for wild black raspberries as the sun was setting. A true Iowa experience. Thank you to Pete and Luann Gilman along with Kris Miler for opening up your property to us!
