For this Face In Your Face Friday we're doing a reality check. Not sad, just thoughtful.

The beautiful kids in these pictures from 2020 came back to see me a couple of weeks ago. My how they have grown! Not one of the animals you see are still around. Life moves on, and so does the farm. But it's nice to know some things never change, like how beautiful the Kate Farmer Schroeder family is.
They are the reason I am called Farmer Tracey 😂.

Some fun facts about portable net fencing that you may not know.
1. It is guaranteed, no matter what size of shoe you wear, your foot exactly fits in between the net. Getting it in is easy, getting it out requires a face plant.
2. When all of the sticks are picked up, the 3-in twig left on the grass will find its way in the net and tangle it into a huge mess.
3. From now until December the fence will become the leaf gathering spot. No trees? It doesn't matter, every leaf within 3 miles will end up drifted against this fence.
4. The fence is guaranteed to keep out bears, but chicks walk through it like it's not even there. Go figure.
5. Still the best portable fencing option on the market. ❤️

Poor darling suffered fly strike this week. I won't post pictures because they are too gruesome and will get my page blocked. Let's just say, she had a little wound on her back and the flies made themselves at home. It doesn't take long for it to become a big wound.
Thank God for Blue Cote. (Also sold as screw worm and tick spray through the co-ops)
Butterscotch is my oldest girl, and the best mama. She's a special one. ❤️
