Me: Thanks! We love making nice breakfasts for our guests.
I hope you've enjoyed yourselves.

Them: It is so relaxing but this is our favorite part.

Me: Breakfast?

Them: No. Interacting. We've never interacted with an Airbnb host before.

Me: never?! 😮

Them: No. We stay at Airbnb all the time. You get a message and a code for your room. Never breakfast. I think we've only seen one host, ever.

Me: Not at our place! My husband has said for years, it's not a room, it's a destination.

Them: It is! And now we want to come back all the time.

Amazing what kindness and socializing can do. Get off your phones. Step away from the games. Go talk to someone face to face. Touch grass. Take a walk. Pet a cow. Eat breakfast together. You never know how you can change someone's life.

This popped up on my personal timeline, and it brought back so many memories! The kids were showing birds for 4-H, and this cute little Ameraucana won Champion in class and Grand Champion for showmanship❤️
She advanced on to state where she brought a blue ribbon.

This little dude is very serious about his job lately. The bread has been flying off D'Farm Stand like... well... Hot cakes! Providing our friends, neighbors, and guests with healthy options makes us happy. Beginning this weekend, another neighbor will be adding his hydroponic veggies to the stand!
Here's the current list:
*Sourdough boules
*Buttermilk loaves
*Oat / wheat mini loaves
*Buttermilk dinner rolls
*Fresh milk
*Fresh cheese
*Fresh yogurts
*Salted butter
*Cultured butter
*Liver dog treats
*Tallow skin products
*Farm grown loofahs
*Locally grown veggies

Now if I could just figure out a way to provide ribs and burgers, no one would ever have to leave the cove! 🤣
