Happy Plant Sale day to those who celebrate! We spent the day packing online orders, assembling your gardens. It was a team effort of 15, led by our incredible Carmella, and bolstered by Katerina who formatted and organized our packing lists and Mel who coordinated our volunteers. We had past employees and work shares, and it was our most enjoyable packing day yet. Manise was our first customer to pick up, as usual, and she gave me my annual pick up hug. It’s one of the best hugs I get all year.
If you’re looking for plants, we have a lot to choose from this weekend, just no sungold or Italian basil til next weekend. Over in the farm stand the Lettuce Mix SALE rides again after a 100 pound harvest— 2 bags for $9. Too tired for marketing, but feeling immensely grateful for our crew and customers today 💗Happy planting! Open and staffed Saturday 10-4.

Self-serve hours start Wednesday 5/6! We will be open Wednesday-Sunday 10-4. Saturdays we are staffed and have a full offering of fresh veg, local products and plants. Wednesday-Friday and Sunday we are open on the honor system and have plants (and often, limited produce). The very first tomato plants will be out this week! Watch the nighttime temperatures for marigolds, beans, tithonia, tomatoes, cucumbers, and squash. It is still EARLY! Cover these babies below 50 for good growth, and below 40 for survival. For self-serve payments we take cash, check, card (scan QR code), gift card, and we have a radio at the stand if you’d like to pay with SNAP. All herb and veg plants are eligible for HIP reimbursement.
