The Cheddar Cheese & Jalapeño Sourdough is very popular – pre-orders limited to one, but you are more than welcome to buy more at pick up, if available.

Just a reminder – if you can’t make the pick up by 5:30 PM, I will leave your bread on the front porch for a late pickup.

Random Callagy Fact: Summer always reminds me of Cape Cod. Callagy loved the Cape and spent many summers making some great friends over the years. Callagy and Sloane attended the Buzzards Bay Sailing Camp for a few weeks each summer when they were kids. As a young adult, Callagy lived with Grampa Bill and worked as a counselor at the Buzzards Bay Sailing Camp. I think Cape Cod is where Callagy learned to love the ocean and sailing.

Bread for Friday 7 August 2026 - I have sold out of the focaccia, so I will not be accepting any more pre-orders for focaccia. I will try to make more, but no guarantees.

I have plenty of Callagy's favorite sourdough, so pre-orders are still ok.

Also, please pay through Venmo to confirm your order. This helps me keep track sales better. I have several people ordering via text, gmail and outlook without paying which sometimes gets confusing and I have missed orders. If you do not have Venmo, the best thing to do is come early.

As Always, if you cannot pick up your bread by 5:30 - 6 pm I will leave the bread on the front porch. If you do not pick up on Friday evening, I will bring the bread in overnight and put it out again on Saturday morning.

Random Callagy Fact: I was cleaning the basement this past weekend and ran across some pottery made by Callagy and Sloane when they were in elementary school. They would often go to School House Pottery after school. They both really loved it, and Mave was a very patient teacher. Sometimes, I wasn’t sure what the item was. I think most of the pottery ended up in the trash, but we still have a few cherished pieces. I always turn the piece upside down to see whose name is on the bottom. The piece I found this past weekend had Callagy’s name on it. I just had to smile.

Random Callagy Fact: Several years ago, I broke my ribs mountain biking. Callagy and Sloane thought it was the funniest thing to make me laugh or startle me, so I’d move quickly. Callagy would sometimes get into a full belly laugh just watching me being annoyed and laughing at the same time. I really miss Callagy’s laugh and sense of humor.

Random Callagy Fact: When Callagy was a freshman at UVM, she had another student come up to her that said, “I think we met before when we were kids and I have a photograph of the two of us together.” Sure, enough Callagy’s new friend had a picture of the two of them. Callagy called home and asked if we knew anyone named Mekah. Karen said yes but we haven’t seen that family in years. We figured out the photograph was taken on a hike in the Adirondacks when Callagy was very young. Callagy and Mekah became best friends at UVM. Recently Karen, Sloane, and I were lucky enough to see Mekah and some of Callagy’s other UVM friends.
