Hi All, I've been very bad about posting. We are currently at three beautiful heifers this season and waiting on a few July calvings. The ranch has suffered badly from the drought. We have had to hay all through the spring, as our pastures simply couldn't handle grazing with the lack of spring moisture.

I've been behind on posting, but I was able to see the beautiful new facilities at the National Western Stock Show and the bull show for the American Aberdeen Association last weekend. Congratulations to all of the exhibitors who brought some really beautiful animals to show off.

We got our first measurable snow this season on January 19th. Some friends in Georgia just posted snow in their pastures this morning. I think they got us beat! Pray for moisture or it's going to be a very tough summer.

We brought a beautiful bred heifer (top photo) in from EZ Effertz Ranch in North Dakota. She's bred to a gorgeous bull, UF Hurricane for a July calf.

Bottom left is her momma at Stock Show. Bottom right is the bull she is bred to.

Her name is EZ Minerva. We'll call her Minnie.
