CF MISS A117
This is one of our donor cows and the dam to CZF MAC 412M. Shes pictured at 12yrs old with a cell phone. In my eyes she's the perfect cow style, which explains why im so excited about getting MAC calves on the ground in '26.

I also added some photos of MAC as a baby. He matured and shaped up very quickly. At 60days old was he already heat checking cows and demonstrated he knew his future job which is very important in selecting herd bulls.

Here's a bull that gets us really excited for the future.

CZF MAC 412M

Not only does this guy have large deep square feet, he also brings next level depth of body, fleshing ability and capacity stamped by our A117 Melody donor. Combine those traits with the mating flexibility of R Plus Fleetwood and you've got one exciting bull to build a herd of daughters with. MAC has ben a man amongst boys in our herd since day one and we sampled him heavily as a yearling. In roughly one month were expecting about 50% of our 2026 calf crop to be sired by him.

Salt helps cattle maintain a normal appetite and body weight. It can also increase feed consumption and weight gain, especially in heifers and stockers. Salt also helps relax and contract muscles, acting as a stress reliever. Cattle have a natural 'urge' for salt which is why loose salt is recommended.

The bulls are starting to really turn in on now. We had intentions of weaning last week until drier weather forced us to chop corn silage first. All the calves will make ther way home first of next week.
