One of my favorite things is watching all the different species eat together. Each night they make their way out to the grass, one after another. There’s a fence between some, but they still typically graze in the same area.

It may be that the clover is sweeter in that spot, though when the horses come in, the goats follow. When the sheep and calf eat, the llama watches. If any one of them takes off running to the barn, the pasture clears out quick. They are better together, and not only from a safety standpoint.

The vegetation they rely on for nourishment stays healthier having a variety of pallets as its mower. The goats love the weeds and low hanging tree leaves, the horses and sheep go for the clover, the cattle wrap their tongues around the longer grasses, and the camelids enjoy a little of everything while being very soft footed on the soil.

So many lessons to learn from the animals and from nature if we pay attention. 🫶

After you get your goat fix, head in to the cafe and grab a drink to sip while you shop. You can find our soaps made with Trixie’s milk on the shelves along with some other awesome artisan products. ☕️🧼🛍️
