Got asked again this week—

“Are you organic?”

No. Way too much paperwork and cost to get bogged down with.

But I was out moving pigs the other day and snapped these pics.

That’s what our pastures actually look like.

Not sprayed. Not stripped down. Just growing.

And those dandelions everyone seems to try and get rid of? 🌼

They’re pulling minerals up from deep in the soil that our animals eat every day.

That’s the difference in our meats. 🌱

Spring always feels like a fresh start. 🌿

Everything’s waking up… and life gets full, fast.

We’ve had a close reminder lately—
sitting in a hospital room with someone we love

not to overlook the one thing so much of your “everyday” depends on:
your health💛

Because you can’t do what you’re called to do
if you’re running on empty…
or on things that don’t truly sustain you.

So as the season picks up, ask yourself…

Am I choosing things that build and nourish me and my family?

Your life and your health are a gift 💜 …
Steward them well🌿

I know the pull…there’s always so much to do (the farm proves it 😅).

Take a few deep breaths.
Consider your blessings.
Intentionally enjoy the moment.

The to-do list will always be there…
but a few quiet minutes might be exactly what you need to stay centered. 💛

It looks like spring… but go step outside and report back ❄️☀️

Anyone else starting to feel that little shift this time of year?

Because around here … it’s go time.

First day of farm season 🙌
…and we’re welcoming over 1,400 baby chicks 🐥🐥🐥

Even though I stepped back into nursing part-time as a case manager…in this season…I kind of get the best of both worlds👩‍🌾🌎👩‍🏫

Ryan and his family run the day-to-day with Billy’s and his family right there alongside…

and me? I get to be Gigi—popping in, soaking it all up, and sharing all the things 😄

I think it comes with the territory of being “Gigi” to six little grandbabies…you just start showing people everything and telling all the stories.

Ryan has humored me and said, “go ahead, share away ma”. 🦋 I love it…getting to stay connected and bring people along for it all.

Never gets old.

Really grateful to be right here in it 🤍🌿

Anyone else getting a little excited for spring—even if it’s still a wee bit nippy? 😄

Well, the sun is setting early and the chill of the season is setting in! 🥶 Even though things are slowing down here at the farm with our last batch of chickens nearly ready for their next step of production, we find our schedules filling up with birthday festivities, family gatherings, and holiday fun. Even though we are missing the sunshine, we are looking forward to this season of thankfulness and celebration. 🙏🏻🦃🤎

Please join us in welcoming our newest little farmer, Malachi William Hamby, born 10/19/2025! Malachi already has such a personality, even at his tiny age! He loves to snack and is always thinking of his next meal (relatable, buddy, relatable!😂), and his favorite place to be is snuggled up close to his mom or dad (Grace and Ryan). He truly is such a joy to us all, and it makes us even more eager for the Hamby additions expected this winter. I’m sure Malachi will love having two more built-in friends very close in age!
We love you, little buddy, and can’t wait to see how the Lord works through you! 💙
