Looking for your new best friend? The kind you can pull out of the stall and do anything with? Well look no further, meet Oak Hills Ninja. The happiest dude you will meet. He is a 5 year old 15 hand stout and sturdy Appy/Fjord cross gelding. Been with our family for over two years now and been ridden by us all!! Sadly he is looking for his new family as we aren’t using him as much and he is to nice to sit in the field. We know he will bring many smiles and adventures to someone else.
Ninja has been nicely started under saddle in the ring he walk, trots and canters. Very comfortable gaits and has a good whoa on him. Loves to jump is very brave and honest. He has been to many cross country schoolings and has proven time and time again to be the leader and babysitter to all the youngsters. Rides in a snaffle with a nice mouth . My daughter has ridden him bridleless as well.

We have taken this guy on lots of adventures and let me tell you he always shows up with his game face and a smile! Ninja has been used for pony club games rally and absolutely loved it! He won the 2024 Maryland region games rally and qualified for championships. Stood tied to the trailer all day long and took everything in stride. Played all kinds of games from hula hoops, hockey and popping balloons he was a trooper!!
Another one of Ninjas absolute favorite things to do is fox hunt!! He loves every second of this. We used him as a whips horse and staff horse last season. Also hunted in the field with my daughter and has chaperoned kids on their ponies out hunting for the day. Each time he went out he proved to be the steady eddy one and always shined in the hunt field. Wonderful with the hounds all under him and with all the activity.
Ninja is a trail machine as well and has put in many miles out and about. Will lead or follow. Crosses bridges, creeks and rough terrain. Not spooky or silly and loves to go. He also will go out alone never calls for his buddies and is just happy to be out with his human. Great with traffic, bikes, 4 wheelers and cars.
He is 100 percent sound with no vices or maintenance. He has the best feet in the barn and is great for the blacksmith standing in cross ties. Never taken a lane step in the couple years we have owned him and comes with a clean PPE. Up to date on shots, Coggins, working and teeth. He has been well kept and is an easy keeper. Gets along well with others and been turned out in a mixed herd. Wonderful barn manners and stands in cross ties all day. Loves a good bath and always hops right up on the trailer.
We are sad to see Ninja go and tears will be shed here but we know he will make another family as happy as he has made us. he is a lot of fun to have around you can pull him out for anything you want to do!
