I love the poppies best just like this
Swollen with potential and on the cusp of their glory

Garlic scapes harvested for the Potato today. Lettuce and kale too. Eat your local veggies!

36° this morning.
Even with all the sunlight, and pleasantly warmish days the garden remains slow and weeks behind.
Lettuce is finally maturing. Rhubarb is still beautiful. The robins have started stealing half ripe honey berries so I put the netting over the bushes.
I am trying to be positive but so far the garden this year just feels like a lot of work for very little return.
Chickweed and horsetail are thriving though!
