This past Friday I was able to help our daughter prepare her Mother’s Day orders with the flowers she’s grown. What gift to see your love for Jesus, your husband, kids and the soil.
Happy Mother’s Day Whitney. I absolutely love watching your gardening talents unfold on the same land your grandma gardened and raised me.

The last of our original cows from 2013 had her baby yesterday. She’s a great mama. Never had to pull one calf from her. She’s gentle yet protective. Calving season just started for us. As many Farmer ranchers calve in January/February so it’s done before planting season starts, we calve starting in late April. Why? Because calving in the spring is better for the calf and also ….Ryan has me. 😉 In my heart, I’m a rancher, not a farmer.
