Midway Farms Located near Stroud Oklahoma, we are a small family farm devoted to improving the land. Pasture-raised the way God and nature intended.

Midway Farms produces pasture-raised Cornish Cross Chickens, Free range eggs, Meishan mix forested/pasture pigs, Dorper sheep, and Dexter cows. Here at Midway Farms, we raise food the way we like to eat. Natural, free of antibiotics, pesticides, and herbicides. Our rotational grazing program allows us to maximize the well-being of our livestock and the health of our soil.

On our family farm, we care for our pigs from farrow to finish.

They’re raised on pasture and in the woods and And Pecan groves, rooting, foraging, wallowing, exploring, and simply getting to be pigs. We love on them, treat them with respect, and work hard to let them live their best Piggie life possible while they’re in our care.

And when processing time comes, that same care continues. About 6 days before travel day, we begin feeding them in the trailer so it becomes a familiar, positive place. Then on processing morning, there’s no stressful chasing or chaotic loading and definitely no barking at the Farmer’s lovely wife. we simply shut the door while they’re eating breakfast. They don’t even realize they’ve been “caught.”

We believe if we’re going to raise animals to feed our family and our community, then we owe them dignity, respect, and as little stress as possible.

Cookie’s turn for some love!!

This sweet ewe has the best temperament, gentle, calm, and always looking for scratches and attention. She doesn’t just tolerate us. She wants to be with us, and we’re happy to give her all the love she asks for.

This is why we do what we do.

As a regenerative, pasture-raised farm, we believe in giving our animals a full, good life. Cared for, respected, and loved on. We do all in our power to given them the best lives while they are with us.

Grateful for animals like Cookie, and thankful to God for the chance to raise food for our community.

Our sweet, sweet Annie girl.

She loves a good scratch and all the attention she can get — a true princess, and one of the best momma pigs we could ask for.

Here on our farm, we farrow to finish our pasture-raised pigs, raising them with the intention of providing food for our community. But we love on them like they’ll be here forever. Every animal is cared for, respected, and given a life that honors what they are.

We’re grateful every single day God has given us the opportunity to be their caretakers and to provide something real and meaningful to the people around us.

Some nights it’s honestly hard to sell what we raise… because it’s just that good.

Tonight’s dinner was goat rib chops and lamb loin chops, and it reminded us why we do this. The flavor, the quality, the care from start to finish—it all comes together in a way you just can’t buy from a store.

There’s a deep sense of pride in our family knowing these animals were raised right here, on pasture, with intention and respect. From our hands to your table, it means something to us.

We’re grateful to be able to share this food with our community.
