Behind every bloom, there’s a whole lot of hard work—and the best husband I could ask for. 🤍 He’s the muscles behind Axis Blooms, and I truly couldn’t do any of this without him.

A few years ago, I would’ve never guessed that “a fun weekend” would involve having dirt delivered to our house.
Now I’m out here planning flower beds while the kids play nearby and getting way too excited about soil.
The things we do for flowers. 💐

Introducing…. Shock-o-lat sunflowers!!!! While I love them and they are very “fall” I think I’ll stay away from growing branching sunflowers in the future and stick with procut. If you’re a flower farmer, I’d love to hear your thoughts on growing sunnies.

Today’s flower farmstand cleanup crew consisted of Tucker and a wagon full of flowers. 💙🌸

One thing that may surprise you: I rarely compost leftover flowers. While many flower farmers do, I just can’t bring myself to throw away their beauty.

My first priority is always people within our church family—whether it’s a widow, someone walking through a difficult season, or someone who could simply use a little encouragement.

After that, I love finding opportunities to bless others throughout our community. Over the past few months, we’ve shared arrangements with local businesses, schools, and other organizations as a small thank you and encouragement.

If you know someone who could be blessed by a surprise bouquet, nominate them in the comments below. 🌸

Some of my favorite blooms are the ones that end up encouraging someone when they least expect it.
