I’ve been mentoring the new owners for two weeks, and today is officially my last day!

It’s the end of the week, the end of the month, the end of a moon cycle, and the perfect time for me to close this chapter 😌

Country Club Produce has been here for over 40 years. And it has always been a family-run business

When I told my parents (who live in New York) that I wanted to buy a business, they wanted to be supportive of course, but it was a scary and unfamiliar thing in my household

My dad asked me “How - as one person - are you going to take over for a whole family?“

I told him that I would be supported and guided along this journey 😇

He wanted to believe that, but of course was a little bit apprehensive

Well my support and guidance DID come. And it was in the form of the employees who have collectively been here for years. They helped me run my business!

So I am honored, now, to be able to restore Country Club Produce to what it’s always been - a family-run business!

I am delighted to present to you the silent and uncelebrated workforce that’s been behind the operation the whole time!
