Harvesting all the lettuce seeds I grew this year, no more buying these kinds of seeds for us.

I am so blessed to have 18 new followers today 💜 should I start the planting challenge for each new follower I get? I have a good amount of tomato seedlings that accidentally sprouted as I was soaking the gel coating off. What if I named each tomato after each follower? Would you follow along to see your plants growth?

Praying for the families, staff members, officers & everyone else in-between today that were affected by the incident at a nearby elementary school. It is horrific to hear such things, especially knowing children were involved.

I hope everyone finds healing, personally I find nature has helped me heal through the unthinkable in my life. Our plan to build community isn’t only for homeschooling families, public schooling families are welcome here too. Not sure how timing will play out but mind over matter & working together can make it happen.

Not sure when our classroom will be fully cleared but with some help it can be done sooner than later & the nature of co creative learning can start for the kids of the community.

Planning to do this, would like to see if anyone else would like to join? It is a far drive & would be best to carpool if everyone is open to it! October 5th is far enough out we can have multiple gatherings & meet ups before

What if school could look completely different?

What if educators, parents, community leaders, and people who simply care deeply about children had permission to step outside the traditional model and build something new?

The Virginia Microschools Network and Path of Life Learning are partnering to host "Inside a Microschool: See Learning Differently"—an opportunity to experience what can happen when we remove barriers, rethink what school has to be, and create learning environments built around children.

This event is for educators, homeschool parents, aspiring microschool founders, current founders, pastors and faith leaders, lawmakers, community leaders, and anyone passionate about creating better opportunities for children.

We’ll explore:

🤔 What exactly is a microschool?
🧐 Who can become a microschool founder?
👨🏿‍🎓 Who are microschools serving—and why are families choosing them?
🏫 How could you create something like this in your own community?

And you won’t just hear us talk about microschools—you’ll get to see one in action.

✨ Meet students
✨ Experience a student showcase
✨ Hear directly from microschool leaders
✨ Connect with others who are reimagining education
✨ Leave with a clearer picture of what might be possible for you

And we are especially excited to hear from Kerry McDonald about what she's discovering with her work across the nation.

If you are an educator who has ever thought, “There has to be another way…”
If you have dreamed about opening your own school…
If you want to create something meaningful for children in your community…

Come see what’s possible.
