Choice Orchards is a great place to pick your own cherries & apples, stroll through our tree maze, or find a gift in our farm market.

LAST two days of tart cherry picking! 🍒 We got confirmation that our orchards will be shook on Monday, so come and get them while you can! We will be open 9-5 on Saturday and Sunday and then closed until the apples begin in September.

Don’t forget we have a cherry pitter! $4 a pail for pitting 🪣.

🍒 Cherry Update: we still have a lot of beautiful TART cherries out there and will be open for pick your own and pre picked cherries through 8/8 🍒 We are open daily 9-5. Montmorency and Balaton tarts are both available. (sweet cherries are done for the season)

We have a cherry pitter available! Cost is $4 per pail and cherries will be placed into a nice freezer Ziploc bag.

Here is what you need to know for pick your own:

🚙 Come to our market to check in and get your pail
💵 Price is $19 per pail and $4 for pitting per pail (optional) We take cash, card and FMNP
🐕 We allow dogs if they are friendly, leashed and cleaned up after
🧊 Bring coolers to transport cherries home. Cherries will be in bags after picking
💦 Stay hydrated while picking, especially on these hot days
🤩 Most important, come to have fun!

Tart cherry update: we still have lots to pick 🍒 We are estimating to have tart cherries until early August. We will likely wrap up the week of 8/3.

Don’t forget, we have a cherry pitter! We will take the work out of making your cherry treats!

We are open 9-5 daily until the cherries are off the trees 🌳.

Planning to do PYO, here is what you need to know:
🪣 Check in at the market and get your pail
🍒 Follow the signs where to pick and head back to the market to check out
💵 PYO is done by the pail and they are $19 per pail and $4 for pitting
🐕 Pets are allowed in the orchard if they are friendly, leashed and cleaned up after
💦 Stay hydrated and wear outdoor friendly clothing
🤩 Most importantly, have fun!

Our sweet cherries are picked out, so the few left will be sold pre picked in the market. But good news is that tart cherries are gorgeous, juicy and ready for the picking! 🍒

We are here daily 9-5 until the cherries are off the trees (estimated around 8/8). We have a cherry pitter to help take the work out too.

Balatons are estimated for the end of July.

Thanks to all who have come out to pick with us already 🍒 It’s been a great sweet cherry crop for us this year. We hope we will have sweet cherries for the rest of the week, but check back later this week as it’s been busy!

Our Tarts are getting closer and we hope to start tart picking this Saturday, 7/10. We have a cherry pitter which takes all the work out of it for you! 🍒

We should have tarts for several weeks.

We are open 9-5 daily until cherry season is done! We can’t wait to see you 🎉🎉

Today is opening day for cherry season 2026! 🍒 We have an early variety of sweets (Chelan) that are ready and believe more varieties will ripen by the weekend with this heat. Tart picking won’t start for a couple of weeks yet.

Please be advised that this heat is dangerous! If you come to pick with us please stay hydrated and shaded as best you can.

Open 9-5 daily!

Opening for the season tomorrow, July 1st! We should be open for PYO sweets on Saturday, but not for tarts for a couple more weeks. We will have the cherry pitter back for tart cherries as well.

We are in full bloom here in Sturgeon Bay! Who has gotten the chance to get out and get some photos? 🌸🍒Share them here ⬇.

The bees have been working hard and we hope that their hard work pays off. 🍒🐝

Buds are getting full and we are even starting to see a little white! We still believe we will be starting to see blossoms early next week. 🍒 🌸

Our market will be opening July 1st for the season and sweet cherries beginning in early July and tarts in mind July. We have been busy painting, staining, cleaning and more for the season that is coming soon!
