Sip everything from semi-sweet favorites to dry reds, whites & dessert wines, then dine at our onsite restaurant The Oo lu ru for brick oven sourdough style pizza, pasta, apps & fresh salads. You will be able to taste our wines in our open wine tasting room setting while viewing the wine making process. Red Oak offers a variety of red, white, desert, cherry and fruit wines. Red Oak is continuously

adding to its variety of wines produced form Wisconsin grapes and fruit including wines produced from our own vineyard! Red Oak practices a French Bordeaux style with barrel aging in producing its red wines leaving them with an excellent finish. German-style wine making practices and temperature controlled fermentation provide crisp and clean white wines. Our techniques result in premium wines to be enjoyed by all.

After 22 incredible years, the time has come to say goodbye.

Since opening our doors in July 2004, we've had the privilege of sharing countless glasses of wine, celebrations, conversations, and memories with each of you. Andrew and Gigi Wagener started Red Oak Winery in our tiny tasting room in downtown Sturgeon Bay with the help of his father and mother, Nicholas & Gretna Wagener. A tiny dream that started with only 9 wines became more than we ever thought was possible.

To every employee, musician, and friend who has been part of our journey, THANK YOU! Your support, loyalty, and kindness have meant more than words can express.

We close this chapter with greatful hearts. While our doors may be closing, the memories we've made will always remain. Our last day will be September 20th of 2026.

We currently have closing sales for our wine.
All semi sweets are $14 a bottle
All dry red wines are $18 a bottle

The Ooluru will continue to operate until September 20th alongside Red Oak Winery. Both businesses doors will be closed after September 20th. We are currently pursuing opportunities to relocate only The Ooluru to Green Bay, and will continue to update everyone the next few weeks.
