Just like that… we’re officially picked out!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made the trip to Meleddy Cherry Orchard this season. Whether you filled one pail or several, brought the kids, shared photos, or made us part of your Door County tradition, we’re incredibly grateful for your support.

This year’s crop disappeared fast, and that’s because of all of you. We loved seeing familiar faces return and meeting so many new ones along the way.

Now it’s time to let the trees rest and catch our breath!

Enjoy those cherries, make some bounce, and bake a pie (or three!)

🍒 One Last Chance! 🍒

All good things must come to an end… and after an incredible cherry season, Monday, July 20th will be the final day of Pick Your Own at Meleddy Cherry Orchard.

If you’ve been meaning to make one more trip, now’s the time. The trees have treated us well, the buckets have been full, and we’ve loved seeing so many familiar faces (and meeting plenty of new ones too!).

Come spend one last summer morning in the orchard, fill a pail with Door County tart cherries, and make a few more memories before another season is in the books.

🍒 Cherry season is winding down soon! 🍒

We’re still open daily, but our harvest is coming to an end. We don’t know exactly when our last day will be—it all depends on what Mother Nature leaves us—but we think it will be very soon.

If you’ve been meaning to make one more trip to fill a pail, now’s the time! The trees still have beautiful tart cherries waiting to be picked, but they won’t be here for much longer.

We’d love to see you before another cherry season comes to a close. ❤️

Mother Nature finally remembered Wisconsin isn’t supposed to feel like the surface of the sun. 😅☀️➡️🍒

With the cooler temperatures, we’re happy to announce that Meleddy Cherry Orchard is back to our normal hours (9am-5pm) and full days!

The trees are loaded, the cherries are beautiful, and it’s a great time to come pick. See you in the orchard!

We’re beating the heat today and opening early from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM!

The trees are loaded, the cherries are delicious, and the cooler morning temperatures make it the perfect time to fill a pail. Come out early, enjoy a beautiful morning in the orchard, and take home some of Door County’s finest tart cherries.

🌞 Heat Update for Meleddy Cherry Orchard 🌞

Due to today’s extreme heat, Meleddy Cherry Orchard will be closing at 2:30 PM today to keep everyone safe.

To help everyone enjoy picking during the coolest part of the day, tomorrow’s hours will be 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

The trees are still loaded with beautiful tart cherries, so come out early, beat the heat, and fill your pails before heading home!

Don’t let the heat keep you away—our trees are absolutely loaded, and you can fill a pail in about 15 minutes. That means less time in the sun and more time enjoying fresh, Door County tart cherries.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped kick off our Pick-Your-Own season. The orchard was full of smiling faces, and the trees are still loaded with beautiful tart cherries!

Mark your calendars—Meleddy Cherry Orchard officially opens for Pick Your Own cherries on Friday, July 10!

The trees are loaded, the cherries are looking fantastic, and it’s finally time to fill your pails with fresh Door County tart cherries. Whether you’re stocking up for pies, jams, baking, or just making summer memories with family and friends, we can’t wait to welcome you to the orchard.

📍 1038 Mill Road, Sturgeon Bay, WI
🕘 Open daily from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM during the season.

A few reminders:
🍒 No ladders needed—our trees are easy to pick!
❄️ Bring a cooler if you’re taking cherries home.
🫙 Cherry pitting is available on-site for $5 per pail.
💵 Cash or check only.

🎬 Breaking News from the Orchard…

Hollywood Tom has been pacing the rows like he’s judging the season finale of a reality show.

🍒 “These cherries are ready!”
🍒 “No… give them another day.”
🍒 “Wait… maybe just the red ones.”
🍒 “But what about the green ones?!”

The poor guy can’t make up his mind. 😅

The good news? The trees are absolutely loaded, and we’re expecting Pick Your Own to open within the next 7 days. Some cherries are beautifully red, while others are still putting the finishing touches on summer.

As soon as Hollywood Tom finally makes the call, we’ll post the official opening date right here. Until then, keep an eye on our page… and maybe send Tom a little encouragement. 🍒😂
