Our why: to learn and adapt so all may have a quality life. Cycle Farm was established in 1904 and is owned by brothers Tony and Jacob Brey and their families. They purchased the farm from their parents, Bill and Clarice, in 2016. We milk 600 cows raise all of our calves and heifers as well as most of the crops for our herd. We also raise Angus/Holstein crossbred beef animals that we market throug

h Brey Family Beef. In addition, we custom raise heifers for several other farms. We are members of Peninsula Pride Farms, a farmer-led watershed conservation group, and participate in the Door-Kewaunee Demonstration Farms Network.

🐮 The stars of June Dairy Month? Our cows, of course!

Healthy, comfortable cows are at the heart of everything we do at Brey Cycle Farm. From expertly balanced nutrition to a comfortable environment and daily care, we work hard to make sure our herd is thriving year-round.

When cows are cared for well, they produce high-quality milk that families can feel good about enjoying.

Drop a 🥛 in the comments if dairy is part of your daily routine!

On we're celebrating the magnificent cows that we care for every day and the delicious, nutritious milk they give. Our cows are rocking it lately, averaging over 101 lbs of milk per cow per day recently!

This we hope you enjoy some extra milk, cheese, yogurt, butter and ice cream (or whatever your favorite dairy foods are) and thank the cows (and people) who make it possible!

The heart ❤️ of our farm is the people - we have some of the best!

Read more about how we help ensure our team members have places to call home in our community.

As rural housing becomes harder to find, one Wisconsin dairy is building more than a workforce by providing homes for nearly all of its employees and helping families put down roots in the community.

A beautiful sight…the heifers are back on pasture!

Managed rotational grazing allows us to utilize land around our heifer barns for pregnant heifers to get some extra exercise and graze on cover crops and a pasture mix from about May through November.

Green, growing cover crops are a sign of spring - even if the somewhat cool temperatures are still lingering.

Triticale is a cover crop we plant in the fall after harvesting corn silage. In 2025 we planted 1,300 acres of cover crops! A cover crop protects the soil over winter from erosion and helps keep nutrients in the field. We are able to apply manure in the spring, allowing the plants to soak up the nutrients and keep building soul health.

We will harvest this crop for feed for our animals and plant corn in the field next.

We had a special guest join us on the farm today! Amanda Hartwig is a student at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. She spent the day with our calf team, including Emir and Gloria, pictured here with Amanda. Amanda is studying dairy science and came to the farm as part of the PDP Mentor Program.

Help us thank Amanda and wish her good luck as she continues her studies!
