Tomorrow we say “arrivederci” to Manuele and Mateo Rota. They spent the last month with us experiencing our Wisconsin dairy farm (and some fun around Door Co., Green Bay and even the Wisconsin State Fair)!

They are an integral part of their family’s 400-cow dairy farm in Italy (you can find it on Instagram ). The milk from their farm goes into Grana Padano cheese! They shared their passion for dairy cattle and crops with our family and our team of employees.

It was a true pleasure to have them here and we hope they come back again soon! We will miss you!!!

More fun farm tours last week! This group brought some great questions that put us to the test.

This week we have third crop hay on the to-do list, along with all the regular day-to-day jobs to care for our animals. Hoping for less haze from the wildfires so the hay can dry and the cows (and people) can breathe a little easier.

Thanks to Keith and Sherry Mutchler, daughter Megan and granddaughters for making a stop at our farm part of their summer family time!

We talked cows, calves and crops, and farm cats were also a hit. It was a hot day but the freestall barn breeze felt so good.

We’re rolling into the weekend with second crop alfalfa harvest underway, along with the daily chores of caring for all of our cows, heifers and calves.

On we're celebrating the magnificent cows that we care for every day and the delicious, nutritious milk they give. Our cows are rocking it lately, averaging over 101 lbs of milk per cow per day recently!

This we hope you enjoy some extra milk, cheese, yogurt, butter and ice cream (or whatever your favorite dairy foods are) and thank the cows (and people) who make it possible!
