BUILT FROM THIS WEEK’S AD: Sausage, Pepper & Onion Pasta

WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 🛒
Eckrich Smoked Sausage — $2.96
Green Peppers — 56¢ each
Sweetie Sweet Onions — 76¢/lb.
Best Choice Pasta — 76¢

Extras:
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
½ tsp. garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Shredded mozzarella or Parmesan, optional

Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced sausage, green pepper and onion. Cook for 6–8 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and sausage is browned.
Stir in pasta sauce, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add cooked pasta and toss everything together.
Top with cheese if desired and serve!
