We've got some great news! We've found a great person to lead our kitchen and elevate what we have to offer.
However, because he's a good guy, he's going to meet the commitments he's already made, and won't be able to join us in full for just a bit.
That means that we're not going to open this weekend.
We know it's the unofficial start to Summer and we definitely want to celebrate it with you. But opening without a fully staffed kitchen is not good enough.
Our main goal is to give everyone a wonderful customer experience. We try to do that with our tremendous staff along with our location, atmosphere, music, beer, cocktails, and food. If one of those elements is missing, then Blind Island Brewery is not what it should be.
It's been an interesting ride since we opened two and half years ago. So many wonderful times along with some hurdles. 2026 has certainly provided its challenges, but the outlook is very bright. We can't wait to really get going this Summer; it's going to be awesome.
We're even going to give you the opportunity to provide your suggestions on kitchen and bar offerings. We're not saying that if you ask for it, we will build it, but we want to provide things that will make your experience something to remember. ("Free Beer Fridays" cannot be considered for insurance reasons.)
