Great story on how 3D printing helped English bulldog, Chubbs. Yu-Hui Huang, MD, MS, Chief Radiology Resident at the University of Minnesota brought Chubbs to the veterinarian where he was diagnosed with maxillary chondroblastic osteosarcoma. They took a CT scan and Huang was able to segment the skull and tumor with 3D Systems DICOM to Print software. From there, they sent the file to 3D print the skull and tumor to get a better look. The 3D printed model allowed the veterinarian to improve the surgical plan and Chubbs was able to make a full recovery!
