A lot of time and effort gets put in for the animals going to the county fair. Finley and Abby have come to know each other well the last few weeks. All the hard work will pay off this coming week; I’m so proud of these girls! day

Little Lucy seems to be enjoying her ride back to the barn and Lily is right in tow keeping a close eye on her new baby! So thankful for such a great pair!! 🥰🐮

Lily had her first calf, a beautiful little heifer! What a blessing she is.
We have our county fair this week and Lily was due during that week. We are SO grateful she calved a few days early!

Flower finally had her calf!
We kept a close eye on Flower throughout the night because yesterday morning she was giving us one of those telltale signs that calving was getting close—she wanted to be off by herself. ❤️ Cows will often separate themselves from the herd when they know it’s almost time.
By early morning, Flower had started labor, and before long she welcomed a big, beautiful bull calf into the world!
Flower did a wonderful job, and both mama and baby are doing great. There’s just something special about those early-morning calves—especially after spending the night checking and waiting!

Darling surprised us 4 days early with her beautiful little baby bull, “Dexter”! Both he and momma are doing great!

So Bryer is in labor. This handheld battery operated shampoo massager is so helpful in relieving and relaxing the normal labor pains. The cows absolutely love it! 🥰🐮

We do an early morning and an evening check on the herd every day…there are so many things to be observed both from a management perspective and also from a thankful, grounded, loving life perspective. I thank God for every moment we all have to appreciate.

Last night was a late one, but it was well worth it! We welcomed two beautiful baby bulls into the world, and both are healthy and doing great. ❤️ Their mommas, Bryer and Darling, are doing wonderful too! 🐮💙💙

We check on the cows every morning and every evening…it always pays to spend just a little more time and give a little more attention to your animals. The knowledge gained, things noticed and the time given to the animals that they all appreciate and grow to love. Us too. ☺️❤️🐮
