Look what we did! First batch of honey from our Staats House bees! Super limited quantity. Not available for sale this year although a few lucky friends got a little honey in their Christmas stocking ❤️

The Staats House dates to 1654 and has been a happy home to generations who came before us. Our bees, like us, thrive in our estuarine environment where the Stockport Creek meets the Hudson River and produce generous amounts of honey as a result. We’re pretty proud of our bees and this first batch of harvested honey, our first ever product from the farm.

Thanks to and for the care and tending, inspiration and moral support and to for the sweet package design.

Today was such a beautiful day for working outside with Alfredo and the team making progress on seasonal clean up in preparation for garlic planting and cover cropping. It’s my favorite time of year when I reflect on all the good that came from the season - great food, new friends and our wonderful team.

Farmers markets may be over but the work continues as we harvest what’s left. You’ll find our flowers this weekend and head to for dinner treats centered around what’s in season on the farm.

The cycle never ends, and the end is just the beginning.

Today was our last day at the Market and we want to thank everyone who came out and supported our little farm this season. You make our world go round and we will miss the rhythm of the harvest and the market which provides us such joy and offers such incredible beauty. Most of all we will miss our customers whose enthusiasm and support anchors every day we are at the Market. Thank you thank you one and all. Stay warm and cozy.

Fall season is officially upon us and this is the last of the market weekends. We’re full of energy and ready to roll with a bounteous display of produce and flowers. Here’s some eye candy to tempt you out of the house and over to your local farmers market. 😊😊😊 And if you can’t make it this weekend we’ll see you next Spring with more deliciousness.
