For 55 years, Duck Soup has been part of Sudbury’s story, and Sudbury has been part of ours.

This Saturday, October 10, we’re saying thank you with a party and a Patriot!

A message from Max Lane, New England Patriots Alum:
“Shops like Duck Soup are a big part of what makes a town feel like home. I’m looking forward to spending Saturday, October 10 in Sudbury with the neighbors and families who keep places like this going!”

🎀11:30am: Ribbon Cutting with the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate 55 years serving Sudbury! We’ll be joined by Chamber President Martha Welsh, Town Manager Andy Sheehan, State Representative Carmine Gentile, State Senator Jamie Eldridge, and candidate for State Representative Ravi Simon.

🏈12:00 to 2:00pm: Meet Patriots alum Max Lane. Max will be signing autographs! He played seven seasons in New England, started in Super Bowl ###I, and was named to the Patriots’ All-1990s Team.

A big thank-you to the MetroWest Boston Visitors Bureau for the lovely write-up on our 55th anniversary! When Duck Soup opened in Mill Village in 1971, the idea was simple: make a place where neighbors could reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, taste something before buying it, and pick up a new recipe.

We're celebrating every Saturday in October: the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st. Mark your calendar for our ribbon-cutting on Saturday, October 10 at 11:30 AM. Come raise a Sky Bar with us! We've deemed Sky Bar Candy the official Halloween Candy in Massachusetts!

It’s October, and we’re celebrating with special events, surprises in the store, a look back, and we want you to be a part of it!

Mill Village Fall Festival & Duck Soup 55th Anniversary

Saturday 10/24 from 11-4pm, and we’re celebrating with a full day of music, games, treats, and community!

Wander through Mill Village for live music, hands-on activities for the kids, a few surprises for the grown-ups, and everything in between. Whether you’re stopping by for an hour or staying the whole afternoon, there’s something for everyone.

Schedule at a glance:

11-12:30pm, 1-2pm — Live Music
12:30 – 1:00 PM — Live Karate Demo
12:30 – 1:30 PM — Trick or Treat!
1:00 – 3:00 PM — Craft Spirits, Snacks & Sweets: Craft B**r Cellar returns for Halloween tastings, and we’ll taste Norwegian baked goods, Virginia peanuts, and more delicious Duck Soup treats!
