Siena Farms, a fifty-acre vegetable farm growing fresh produce for our CSA community, farm stores, restaurants, is nestled in the fertile soils of the Sudbury River valley just twenty-five miles west of Boston.

Farmer Chris & Agnes' faves this week? Summer carrots and tomatoes! 🍅🥕 While these summer carrots aren't as sweet as our fall crop, Agnes and Legacy sure don't seem to mind. And a huge welcome to TOMATO SEASON!! Keep an eye out in your boxes over the next 6 weeks or so to see all our different varieties. Enjoy your CSAs!

Garlic harvest is one of the most special times of the year here at Siena Farms! 🧄 Last week our team hit the fields to pull 2 ACRES of our beautiful Siena Farms garlic. Our yearly garlic harvest is truly a special moment on the farm where every team comes together to be a part of the process. We have the production team lift our garlic beds and prepare the greenhouses to become our curing racks, team harvest in the fields leading the charge to hand-pull each and every stalk of precious garlic goodness - even members of our office & retail staff joined in on collecting all of the freshly harvested garlic and helping to pack truck after truck fully to the brim with fresh garlic stalks to transport to our greenhouses.

We now find ourselves surrounded by an abundance of garlic, and an abundance of gratitude for the whole Siena Farms Family. Thank you to everyone for your support year after year, and maybe we'll see you at our 1st Annual Old-Fashioned Fashioned Garlic Split & Brunch 😏

Greetings from our garlic field! 🧄 It's a hot one today, but there's always field work to be done. Here's a glimpse into Farmer Chris and our production team lifting our garlic beds before harvest to make it easier for our crew to pluck those fresh stalks straight from the soil. Tomorrow that green garlic will be squeaky clean and headed into a CSA box near you!
