Good morning!

This week we will be open from 12-2 on Saturday 9/12. The pasture will remain closed and alpacas can be fed at the fence line. The store will also be open.

Opening date update:

We will be open on Saturday, September 5th from 12-2 NOT Friday, September 4th. Unfortunately there’s quite a few deep puddles around the entrance and parking lot that we will repair tmrw to be ready for Saturday.

The pasture will remain closed but grain can be given to the alpacas at the fence and gated area. The shop will also be open.

We have a small staff and a few events offsite coming up so we will be posting our open dates and our public events on our website. Our website and Facebook will have the most up to date information regarding open dates, events and closures as we will not be able to be open every weekend.

Ellie has some exciting news to share!

We will open for the fall season on Friday, September 4th. Ellie and her friends are very excited to welcome their friends back to the farm.

Full schedule and hours will be posted this weekend.

Happy New Year!

Looking for a place to drop off your Christmas tree? Look no further! You can drop off your Christmas tree (in its natural state: free of flame retardant, tinsel, garland, ornaments and artificial snow) any time in January. Trees can be dropped off 7 days a week in our parking area ( you will see a pile of trees that can be added to).

The drop off address is 685 Hale St., Suffield CT. If you need assistance unloading the tree, please come before 11 am to ensure someone is available to help you.

Thank you again for all of your support during the year. We enjoy seeing you all at the farm, fiber festivals and markets we attend throughout the year.

It’s a winter wonderland out there! The alpacas have decided to take a snow day so they can make snow angels, build a snowman, and have a snowball fight ☃️❄️

Due to the snow we just got & pending icy mix we are scheduled to get, we will be closed today 12/27 and tomorrow 12/28.

A lovely sunrise this Saturday morning after a wild weather day yesterday.

Our store hours today are 10 am - 3 pm. We are closing the pasture today so it can dry out a bit after all the rain.

You can feed the alpacas through the fence today. Grain is only $2.00 per bag and the alpacas would love to see you.

We have plenty of goodies in the shop to keep you and your loved ones of all ages warm and toasty.

Wow!! Can you believe it is the Friday before Christmas? Fergie is feeling very festive this year in her hat!

The boutique will be open today from 12 - 4 if you are searching for any cozy gifts. The pasture will be closed today due to the heavy rain.

We will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10-3. We would love to have the the pasture open this weekend, but we will post if we need to close due to conditions.

Happy Friday! Please join us in wishing Moose a happy 4th birthday!

Moose has a bit of a sweet tooth and will be enjoying his favorite snack of Fig Newtons today.

We are open today from 12 pm - 4 pm. Saturday and Sunday Santa will be returning to our farm on Saturday and Sunday from 10-1 (reservation and walk up spots available). The shop will be open from 10-3 on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to the weather we got this week and the ice in & around the pasture, we will have a modified open farm day and will be doing over the fence visits with the alpacas only. We are working on some modifications so hopefully we can reopen the pasture asap.

We will also be at the holiday market at Suffield High School until 1pm today, 12/6.

Another announcement from Stout because he loves being social: the parking lot is an ice rink today so we will be closed.

We have a crew cleaning it up this afternoon to make it ready for tmrw and the weekend.

It’s going to be really cold so bundle up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We have some new socks we think you will love!

If you don’t feel like braving the cold at the farm, we will be at the Suffield High School in the agriscience building from 9-1 on Saturday. There’s some terrific vendors at this winter market!
