The Fribble Friends secured their fourth LI Hoops Championship last night with an inspiring second half effort in which they overcame a 13 point deficit to defeat The Bird Men. A misty eyed Roger Kunch said after the game, "I just can't believe how far we have come, man. If you saw the way we used to play at Our Savior... (Mike) Bello is like a son to me."

The celebratory parade is scheduled for this Saturday at 4 p.m. EST.

After last night's thrilling overtime victory in the first round of the playoffs, the Fribble Friends overcame a 14 point deficit to win 68-63 in overtime in tonight's semi-final matchup against the Selden Aces. Alex's Pecks hit the game tying shot with no time left in regulation and the Fribble Friends closed out the victory in extra time despite 42 points from the Selden Aces point guard. See you at the Championship next Wednesday 2/6/13 at 9!
