Well we learned a huge lesson this past week about our meat birds. Brood them OUTSIDE. They are some stinky birds!!! But with every new adventure comes great learning opportunity. I built this little brooder box with scrap wood I had laying around here, it cost me $30 it isn’t perfect, but the birds are happy, and I don’t have to smell them anymore. I will be building one or two more of these that are a little bit bigger and more functional for cleaning. But this is perfect for what we needed it for

Our baby chicks have arrived. These are all meat birds, we are aiming for a processing date at the beginning of May, so be on the look out for us posting about availability to purchase some farm fresh pasture raised chicken!

Good afternoon friends, I know a lot of y’all are waiting on some farm fresh chicken. They were supposed to be here this week, but thanks to our lovely postal service putting an embargo on live animals because they are so backed up. We will not be getting our first batch of birds they should be delivered on March 8th. With that being said we are looking at a processing date of around the 20th of May and availability that day if you come to the farm and pick up. Thank you for your patience, we look forward to helping feed each and everyone of y’all! God Bless

Please bear with us as we are starting our family farm page. I was born and raised here in the 757. I love to support businesses and I hope you would choose to support our local business. We currently are selling farm fresh eggs. But within the next 5-6 months we will have some pasture raised ORGANIC farm fresh chickens for sale. We will be selling them as wholes, halves, breast, thigh/leg quarters. And in 7-9 months we will be selling pasture raised pork! Y’all shoot us a message or comment below what your favorite type of pork is and what your favorite flavor of sausage is. We look forward to being a part of y’all family. Welcome to our family farm page. We are the Ellis family, my name is Parker Ellis, my wife’s name is Jazmin, and we have two beautiful daughters Madison and Raelynn. We are creating a first generation farm. We love what we do, we love our animals and treat them like family. They are raised right, raised happy, raised healthy which means they look better, healthier, and quite frankly they taste better.
