Melissa's Cheesecakes Homemade Cheesecakes I got hooked on making Cheesecake in 2013, my friend Melanie Erb was disappointed by the lack of decent cheesecake on Kodiak, AK.

So an Idea was born, I made my first cheesecake for her a Strawberry one! She loved it. Then I started to try different kinds and people actually started buying them! Now I make many different kinds of cheesecake and I love doing it. I won the 2013 coast guard day bake off grand prize for my Creme Brulee cheesecake, which still remains very popular.
