Good morning everyone, finally seeing some sun after the much needed rain.

I took inventory of my pork and this is what I have left:

15 smoked pork hocks for 3.00/ pkg. these are good if you make ham and bean soup.
2 pork butt roasts for 4.00/lb
1 pork picnic roast for 4.00/lb
1 pork roast for 4.00/lb
1 smoked ham 8.455 lbs for 5.00/lb

Pork shoulder, caraway and dark beer go into the roasting tin together. 🍺 Schweinebraten comes out with crackling on top and gravy underneath. The recipe is in the comments.

Look at this beautiful home grown ham I cooked today. Crockpot on low for 3 hours with crushed cloves on top. Then put on a ham glaze and in the oven for 20 minutes. It was devine.
Pork will be in the freezers somewhere around November 16th.

What’s for dinner tonight? I cooked a pork roast from our home grown pigs and made bbq pork, baked bread and applesauce made with apples from a friends apple tree. We know where our food comes from and how it was raised.

Good evening and what a beautiful evening it is. First I want to thank all my customers that took advantage of our Wagyu ground beef special.

Jersey Beef will be back in the freezer 2nd week of September. If you want a special cut of beef, please reach out to me and let me know.

Tonight I tried my hand at making hot dog buns and boy did they turn out good. Guess I won’t be buying hot dog buns anymore. Also made bread and 1/2 the loaf is gone already. Guess I will have to make another loaf of bread tomorrow.

Good morning, it is great to have some cooler weather after the heat spell we just had.

Good morning, who else is enjoying these beautiful days we are having.

What’s going on at the farm today? Continuing haying, I have a bushel of peaches to process for pie filling, jam and sliced peaches. Canned 3 quarts of rhubarb strawberry pie filling and froze 10 cups of strawberries.

If you are looking for great burger for your cook outs, we have Wagyu ground beef for 8.00/lb. Also have our Jersey Beef - 6 pkgs of mock chuck Delmonico which are 2 steaks per pkg and 4 pkgs of Delmonico (2 pkgs have 1 steak each and 2 pkgs have 2 steaks each) for 17.00/pkg.
